Senior .NET/API Software Engineer

PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Senior .NET/API Software Engineer on a Contract-to-Hire basis. This role is based out of Loveland, CO. No third party reach-outs please.SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable software solutions with a strong emphasis on APIs and customer integrations. This role will troubleshoot complex integration challenges across applications, databases, services, and environments while partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain software solutions and REST APIs.Troubleshoot complex API, application, database, and integration issues, performing root-cause analysis and driving problems through resolution.Debug end-to-end integrations spanning APIs, services, databases, and multiple environments.Partner directly with customers and external partners to diagnose and resolve technical integration challenges.Identify and resolve discrepancies across onboarding, test, and production environments.Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, automated testing, and production support.Communicate technical findings, risks, status, and recommended solutions to Engineering, Product, customers, and other stakeholders.Identify recurring technical problems and implement durable engineering improvements that increase API and integration reliability, scalability, and supportability.Required Skills6+ years of strong software development experience using C#, databases, and Azure cloud services.Strong experience developing and troubleshooting REST APIs and distributed systems, including API contracts, payloads, authentication, error handling, and integration patterns.Experience diagnosing complex customer and system integrations across development, test, and production environments.Strong SQL skills and experience troubleshooting data-related issues.Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, observability, application monitoring, logging, tracing, and production support.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis capabilities.Experience working directly with customers and technical stakeholders to resolve integration issues and communicate technical findings.Experience with customer-facing APIs, cloud-based distributed architectures, and customer or partner onboarding is preferred.No third parties.
