Quality Assurance ManagerFremont, CA$150,000 – $180,000A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee its Quality Management System, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining robust quality programs while driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the quality function.This individual will partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues, strengthen processes, and ensure overall system effectiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality System Management Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and internal quality requirements Drive continuous improvement across quality processes, systems, and procedures Oversee validation, calibration, and overall quality system effectivenessCross-Functional Leadership Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and project teams to resolve quality issues Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across departments Support collaboration on new initiatives, process improvements, and product development Serve as a key point of contact for quality-related decisions and escalationsAudits & Compliance Oversee internal and supplier audit programs Ensure readiness for external audits and regulatory compliance requirements Manage documentation systems and ensure accuracy and completeness Support environmental and analytical testing programs and product stability initiativesTeam Leadership & Development Manage team structure, staffing levels, and resource allocation Assign work, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of deliverables Mentor and develop staff while fostering a high-performance, accountable culture Provide visibility into team capabilities and support knowledge sharing across the organizationPerformance & Continuous Improvement Drive department performance through metrics, reporting, and process improvements Evaluate quality system effectiveness and implement enhancements Develop tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve efficiency and outcomes Monitor progress and ensure alignment with organizational goalsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) 5–7+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment 5+ years of supervisory or management experience Strong knowledge of quality systems and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) Experience working in computer, electronics, or technical manufacturing environments Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate technical data and resolve issues Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsPreferred Experience managing supplier quality and audit programs Background in validation, calibration, and regulated quality environments Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives Experience working cross-functionally in complex manufacturing environments#IPROPLUS
