ControllerSouth Salt Lake City, UTWe're seeking a hands-on Controller to lead our accounting function, manage financial reporting, protect profitability, and support continued growth.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.Experience with construction, landscaping, specialty contracting, or project-based accounting.Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP schedules, and GAAP financial reporting.Experience with payroll, commissions, and cash management.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with QuickBooks Online.Proven ability to develop processes, implement controls, and lead a team.PreferredCPA, CMA, or similar certification.Experience supporting a $20M-$75M organization in residential services, specialty contracting, roofing, solar, turf, or a related field.Multi-location or multi-market accounting experience.ResponsibilitiesLead monthly financial close and prepare accurate GAAP financial statements.Manage job costing, WIP reporting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.Oversee cash flow, billing, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Ensure payroll, installer pay, and sales commissions are processed accurately and on time.Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets.Partner with operations and sales teams to improve margins and financial performance.Coordinate tax filings, 1099 reporting, and compliance activities.Lead and develop the accounting team while improving processes and system efficiency.Compensation & BenefitsStarting salary of $120,000 - 150,000+ based on experienceHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceUnlimited PTO
