The RN supervisor has the responsibility, authority and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN supervisor manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication and collaboration with all team members. This role encompasses leadership, partnership, collaboration and supervision. The RN supervisor establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients and their families, to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care. The RN supervisor demonstrates a commitment to the community and to the nursing profession. What will you do as a Registered Nurse Provide direct nursing care to the residents Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants Interact and communicate with the family members of our residents in a patient and professional manner Must be able to communicate with physician and CRNP. Must be able to multitask and be a team player.
