Medical Director Physician

Seeking Board Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Pediatrician to join talented team in Lancaster, CA as Chief Medical Officer. Schedule: Full-Time The role is structured as 60% clinical (approximately 3 days/week) and 40% administrative (2 days/week). Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Provide direct primary care services 60% at one of our clinic sites (Monday Friday schedule) Oversee and supervise all licensed medical providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs) Lead monthly provider meetings, performance reviews, and provider productivity coaching Develop and monitor Quality Improvement strategies and HEDIS metric performance Champion accurate documentation, coding, and note closure to meet billing and compliance standards Clinic offers: Psychiatry Medically Assisted Treatment(MAT) integrated with Primary Care Individual Counseling Drug and Alcohol Dependency (Non court-ordered) Alanon Family Group (Tuesdays at 5:15-6:15PM, open to the community) SMART recovery group (Open to BACHC Primary Care patients, call for more information) Plus other special groups for specific issues Compensation & Benefits: Competitive Salary: $320,000 - 400,000 DOE Full Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution Generous paid time off, holidays, and wellness leave CME time and allowance FTCA malpractice coverage NHSC & state loan repayment program eligibility The Community: Livability's 2019 Top 100 Places to Live.
