Eight or more years of relevant education, experience and/or progressive training may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience required for this posting. C++, C#, or Java programming experience.Due to the nature of this work, the successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DOE 'Q' security clearance.Preferred Job RequirementsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Effective communication skills and demonstrated success in a team environment.Active DOE ‘Q’ or DoD ‘TS’ clearance.Experience with databases, both SQL and NoSQL.Experience with Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, or Python outside of school projects.Experience with specific PDM/PLM platforms such as Teamcenter, Windchill, SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault, Aras, or Agile PLM.Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration methodologies.Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and their interaction with PDM/PLM/xBOM.Experience with data migration and transformation tools.Experience with version control tools such as GIT, SVN, or other code repositories.Experience with Batch/PowerShell scripting and Windows Task Scheduler.Experience with writing automated unit test using test frameworks such as VSTest, xUnit, and nUnit.Knowledge of object-oriented SOLID principles and common design patterns.Comfortable communicating with wide ranges of customers and differing technical backgrounds.Experience with AI/ML/LLM/NLP.Experience with agile methodology frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming SAFe.Why Y-12?You get #morethanajob.
