Quality Assurance Coordinator

DescriptionThe Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction by managing nonconforming material, supporting corrective action activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes.Responsibilities include:Review and disposition nonconforming, WIP, and finished goods materialInvestigate quality issues and support corrective actions and claimsCoordinate rework and repass activitiesAnalyze quality trends and recommend improvementsSupport audits and quality system requirementsPartner with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Quality teamsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)Experience in steel manufacturing or service center environment preferredUnderstanding of metal standards, tolerances, and defectsExperience with quality systems, corrective actions, or ERP systems a plusStrong communication, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to manage priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentRegular interaction with plant operations and office teamsOccasional travel between company locationsTime-sensitive decision-making environmentAbout Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS):ITS is an international recruiting and staffing firm specializing in Engineering, Technical and Professional positions.
