Senior Full Stack Developer – Python / React & AI-Assisted Development (Federal Project)

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to lead innovative software solutions on a federal project that leverages Python, React, and AI-assisted development. Duties Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications utilizing Python for backend logic and React for dynamic front-end interfaces. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between distributed systems and frontend components. Architect scalable microservices architectures aligned with system design best practices to support high availability and performance. Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, conduct code reviews, and ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are optimized using tools like GitHub, SVN, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. Implement cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as AWS or Azure to support application deployment, scalability, and security requirements. Apply design patterns and software engineering principles to create maintainable, efficient codebases while adhering to security standards like RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). Engage in system design activities focusing on scalability, performance tuning, and integration of AI-assisted modules to enhance system intelligence capabilities. Skills Extensive experience with full stack web development using JavaScript frameworks such as React along with backend programming languages including Python, Java, C#, or C++. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including cloud services (AWS, Azure), Linux environments, and network security protocols. Proven expertise in designing RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and scalable systems utilizing design patterns for robust application development. Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL; experience with SQL query optimization is a plus. Knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile software development practices; experience with version control tools like GitHub or SVN is essential. Experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes ensuring rapid delivery cycles. Ability to develop secure applications incorporating RBAC models and other security best practices; familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams while translating technical requirements into effective solutions.
