Your work will focus on assessing clients' emotional and psychological needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and facilitating healing and growth through evidence-based therapeutic techniques. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of support for clients facing crises, behavioral health issues, and life transitions. The ultimate goal of this role is to empower clients to improve their mental well-being, develop coping strategies, and achieve a higher quality of life. Your compassionate and skilled approach will contribute significantly to the overall mental health and resilience of the communities you serve.Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.Valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling to diverse populations.Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health principles.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with specialized populations such as children, adolescents, or veterans.Certification or training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivering remote counseling services.Additional credentials in anger management or substance abuse counseling.Bilingual abilities or cultural competency training to serve diverse communities effectively.Responsibilities:Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health concerns.Perform thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on clients' unique needs and goals.Provide crisis intervention and support clients experiencing acute emotional distress or behavioral health emergencies.Facilitate anger management and life transition counseling to help clients develop effective coping mechanisms.Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to coordinate care.Stay current with best practices and emerging research in counseling psychology and psychotherapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.Skills:The required skills such as Counseling Psychology, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy are essential for conducting effective therapeutic sessions tailored to individual and group needs. Mental Health Counseling and Psychotherapy skills enable the therapist to diagnose and treat a variety of psychological conditions, while Crisis Intervention skills are critical for managing clients in acute distress and ensuring their safety. Anger Management and Life Transitions expertise help clients navigate emotional regulation and significant life changes, fostering resilience and personal growth. Behavioral Health knowledge supports a holistic understanding of clients' mental and physical health interrelations, allowing for comprehensive care planning. Preferred skills like specialized therapeutic certifications and teletherapy proficiency enhance the therapist's ability to deliver diverse and accessible mental health services in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
