INDUSTRIAL PAINTER

Job Description Prestigious, well established company is seeking an experienced Equipment Painter for a full-time position from 7am-3:30pm Monday to Friday and with occasional OT as needed. We are seeking someone with 2-7 years' experience and the skills to handle the following.Responsibilities:Responsible for applying primer, paint and similar coatings to metals using various methods such as spraying, rollers and brushesResponsible for cleaning and removing previous finishes including by grinding/sanding and cleaning up after each step of preparationOperate a spray paint boothRequirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs and sit, stand or walk for extended periodsExperience using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool or sanding machinesAbility to use caulking guns or putty knives to fill holes, cracks and jointsAny previous construction or carpentry skills a plusExcellent communication skillsHS Diploma or GEDThis position starts on a temporary basis and has the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and attendance.
