Job Description & RequirementsInterim Director Respiratory Therapy - DaysStartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $160000.00 - $170000.00Interim Director, Respiratory Therapy Needed in San Leandro, California!The PositionAn Interim Director, Respiratory Therapy is needed to lead the hospital’s Respiratory Therapy Services and oversee departmental clinical and technical operations. Reporting to executive leadership, this leader will oversee Respiratory Therapy staff, departmental operations, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include directing Respiratory Therapy Services, monitoring departmental performance metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, overseeing CQI initiatives, and coordinating National Quality Plan measures and targets. The ideal candidate will have extensive Respiratory Therapy leadership experience within an LTAC or acute care setting, along with strong clinical expertise in ventilator management and respiratory care services. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. RequirementsBachelor’s degree required. Active CA Respiratory Therapist license and NBRC RRT certification required. Minimum of five years of recent Director of Respiratory Therapy experience in an LTAC or acute care facility setting required. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
