The Homecare CNA will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and health monitoring, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our clients. This position requires adherence to all applicable laws and regulations in North Carolina.Responsibilities:Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility, including transfers from bed to wheelchair, walking, and range of motion exercises.Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.Medication Reminders: Assist clients with medication reminders and follow care plans as instructed by healthcare professionals.Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, client condition, and any changes observed.Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding client care and needs.Safety: Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure the well-being of clients and yourself.Qualifications: Certification: Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of North Carolina.Experience: Prior experience in home healthcare or a related field is preferred.CPR Certification: Current CPR certification required.Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes.Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Compassion: Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a strong desire to help others.Work Environment: The Homecare CNA will work primarily in client homes, providing one-on-one care.
