He/she plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency by developing new functionality, improving workflows, integrating systems, and supporting users across Sales, Engineering, Fabrication, Installation, Service, Purchasing, and Accounting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Develop, maintain, test, and deploy enhancements to the Crane ConnectX MES platform.• Create new modules, screens, reports, dashboards, and workflow automation tools.• Design and maintain database structures, queries, and stored procedures.• Integrate the MES platform with QuickBooks Desktop• Work with Sales, Engineering, Fabrication, Service, Purchasing and Accounting to improve business processes.• Explore usages for AI throughout the organization.• Develop KPI dashboards and management reports.• Provide technical support and system administration.• Support future technology initiatives including mobile apps, customer portals, automation, and AI-enabled tools.QualificationsRequired• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.• 3+ years software development experience.• Proficient in PHP programming language and Joomla content management system (CMS)• Experience with SQL databases, web applications, APIs, and integrations.• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
