Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Attention, LinkedIn! We’re looking to hire a mid-senior level equipment designer / builder. We’re seeking strong generalists, with positive attitudes, a thirst for obtaining technical skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Our ideal candidate is as comfortable modeling in SolidWorks, as they are laying out and wiring a control panel, programming a PLC, machining a part, or plumbing a pneumatic valve bank. That said, we don’t expect anyone to join having mastered all of the aforementioned disciplines or skills, but rather do expect everyone to teach and learn on the job. We thrive on cross-pollination.Basic skills and qualifications required include (1) a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, mechatronics, or electrical engineering, or materials science, or comparable industry experience, (2) a strong mastery of SolidWorks CAD software, (3) exceptional hands-on skills, knowledge a wide variety of hand and power tools, and (4) strong communication skills, with coworkers and customers. Nice-to-haves experiences include PLC / HMI / manufacturing robot / vision system programming, industrial control panel wiring, machining / welding / fabrication. Technical project management skills / experience are a plus, as well.
