As we continue to expand our family law practice in the Texas market, we are focused on building a team of attorneys who contribute to both legal excellence and the firms long-term growth.We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with prior litigation experience who is motivated to grow professionally while playing a meaningful role in a high-performing, growth-oriented practice. This position offers substantial client responsibility, courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued expansion and success of the firm.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related proceedingsManage a full caseload from intake through final resolutionDevelop and implement strategic case plans tailored to each matterDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memorandaAppear in court for hearings, conferences, and trialsNegotiate settlements and manage case progression effectivelyMaintain organized case files and ensure timely movement of mattersProvide clear, professional communication throughout the case lifecycleCollaborate with attorneys and staff to support workflow and operational goalsQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing in Texas (additional jurisdictions a plus)13 years of family law or comparable litigation experience requiredDemonstrated strong work ethic and a high level of accountabilityAbility to manage a demanding caseload with efficiency and attention to detailStrong oral advocacy and courtroom presenceExcellent legal writing, research, and analytical skillsProfessional judgment and ability to perform in a fast-paced environmentInterest in contributing to a growing, performance-driven practiceFluency in Spanish very desirableCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentivesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchingPaid time off and holidaysProfessional, team-oriented work environmentModern office space with provided meals and amenitiesScheduleFull-time, MondayFridayAvailability for occasional after-hours consultations
