Quality Technician, II

The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality. Responsibilities: Provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra's quality-assurance processes Conduct nonconforming materials investigation and report to Zebra's authorized vendors as appropriate Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to implement corrective actions Engages management as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues Support new product quality plan implementations Ability to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad framework Support ISO 9001 QMS Other research or related activities as deemed necessary Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: High School or equivalent 2+ years of work experience Fluent level of English (written and verbal) Preferred Requirements: Strong process adherence Beginner level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management) Self-directed with ability to be efficient with minimal supervision Intermediate problem solving skills Prior working experience in manufacturing environment (preferred Print/Label Industry) Zebra is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
