Catapult Healthcare is partnered with a Health System in Virginia, 65 miles outside of Roanoke, VA that is in need of locum tenens coverage for at least 4-6 months with the possibility to extend. The Ideal candidate would be a Board Certified Family Physician that is available Mon-Fri.Reason for need: 1 physician retired, 1 mid-level and 1 physician relocatingSchedule: Monday through Friday with 1-2 saturdays per month covering Acute Care Clinic patients. Call rotation: 1:4 will include some Pediatric callsShift hours: 8A - 5P with 1 shift each week covering late night clinic opened until 6PM. Doors but patients inside clinic will need to be seen before leaving for the day.Current Staff: 3 full time physicians, 1 part-time physician and 5 mid-levels on staffEMR: EPICNumber of exam rooms: 2 rooms open for each provider minimum or up to 3Credentialing timeframe: 90 - 120 daysRequirements:Board Certified in Family PracticeMust be comfortable taking pediatric calls - Ages: Newborns and upMust be comfortable and experienced with geriatric patientsMust be comfortable with chronic disease managementPrefer provider to be comfortable with knee injectionsPrefer provider comfortable with minor sutures - No Faces and no major sutures.
