*About the Opportunity*
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to support a portfolio of medical device product development initiatives. This individual will partner closely with the PMO, Engineering, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to drive project execution, milestone achievement, risk management, and executive-level reporting across multiple programs.
This position is ideal for someone with experience supporting medical device product development, New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, and cross-functional engineering organizations within a regulated environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Manage engineering and product development projects from planning through execution.
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource plans.
* Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items while driving timely resolution.
* Coordinate project documentation, status reporting, and executive-level updates.
* Support governance reviews, stage-gate reviews, and leadership presentations.
* Facilitate collaboration across Engineering, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
* Monitor project execution against key milestones and deliverables.
* Support portfolio reporting, resource planning, and project prioritization activities.
* Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools for leadership visibility.
* Drive accountability and communication across multiple project teams.
*Required Qualifications*
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
* 5-8+ years of project or program management experience.
* Experience supporting medical device product development or other regulated product development environments.
* Strong project scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
* Experience creating reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
* Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience managing project plans, risks, issues, action items, and executive reporting.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Medical device industry experience.
* New Product Introduction (NPI) experience.
* FDA-regulated environment experience.
* ISO 13485 knowledge.
* PMP certification.
* PMO or portfolio management experience.
* Experience supporting Design Controls, Verification & Validation (V&V), product launches, or manufacturing transfers.
