Taylor Machine Works, Inc. is a subsidiary of the Taylor Group of Companies, a third-generation family-owned business based in Louisville, MS since 1927.Job AccountabilitiesMaintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders and bill of materials.Maintains in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials and supplies.Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.Contributes to team effort by accomplish ing related results as needed. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all timesWear the proper safety equipmentAssist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandisePrepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery areaSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standardsQualificationsJob Qualifications:High School Graduate or GED equivalent.Three years job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.Basic computer skills.General knowledge of Taylor Parts System would be a plus.Must be able to operate Forklift and Combilift.Incumbent must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, since employee will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.Must be DOT certifiable.
