We are currently seeking skilled Marine Insulators for a potential 5-year project in Norfolk, VA. This opportunity involves hands-on labor working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced professionals. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role. Overview: Apply, remove, and repair insulation and lagging on piping, machinery, and shipboard structures. Responsibilities: Install thermal, sound, and protective insulation materials. Shape and secure insulation around pipes, valves, and fittings. Remove and dispose of old insulation safely. Follow OSHA and shipyard safety guidelines. Qualifications: Active DoD Secret clearance required. 4+ years of insulation/lagging experience, with at least 2+ years on Navy ships. Knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques. High school diploma/GED. Ability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Global- a 1st Flagship Company is an E-Verify and is an equal opportunity employer.
