DescriptionDescriptionThe Commercial Project Manager (CPM) manages multifaceted construction of PV and BESS projects with a laser focus on safety, quality, schedule and financial metrics of ReVision Energy's most complicated projects. Typical projects are 50kW-1MWdc in size with project budgets of $100,000-$3 Million. The CPM is the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholder teams to execute the projects successfully.Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Manage and direct project management activities, act as liaison between client, stakeholders, engineers, subcontractors, third-party construction managers and other consultants during the execution phase of a projectPlan, execute, monitor, control, close out and complete PV projectsMaintain an excellent understanding of all project contract agreements and requirements.Develop and manage project schedules, anticipate bottlenecks, and find opportunities to accelerate critical path itemsCoordinate with Commercial Construction Manager and Procurement team to ensure all materials required to maintain project budget, schedule and specifications are ordered and released appropriatelyEffectively coordinate all construction activities and schedules with multiple vendors and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project schedules and completion timeframe requirements.Schedule and attend project site walks with customers, subcontractors, and construction personnelDirect the daily and weekly schedules of the Site Supervisor to assure each project is recieving appropriate levels of oversight to assure safety, quality, schedule and budget expectations are met or exceededPrepare look-ahead documents and weekly, monthly progress reports and billing informationAssist in the preparation and submission of change ordersCoordinate with O+M and SS team for QC inspections, comissioning and punch list completion itemsPreconstruction support:Work with estimating team and Commercial Construction Manager to develop project budgets and find cost savings opportunities without sacrificing safety, quality, or customer experienceCoordinate design and permitting activities with the engineering team and local authorities, as neededSubcontractors:Ensure all subcontractors and suppliers meet or exceed the safety and quality standards of ReVision EnergySolicit and assess subcontractor qualifications and quotesCommunication:Serve as a key point of contact for concise communications to the client, ReVision Energy management, and other key stakeholdersSubmit "Requests for Information" to clientsCoordinate meetings, schedule updates, submit deliverables, and address outstanding open items as requested by clientsReport regularly to management teamFinancials:Review and monitor job costs versus budgetsWork to find cost savings opportunities without sacrificing safety, quality, or customer experienceAssist construction personnel throughout the project lifecycle in tracking production and cost metricsMentorship and team support:Provide coaching and mentorship to members of the project team who are newer to the project type, size or role, including ReVision co-owners and subcontractorsIdentify areas for improvement in project development, mobilization, construction and close-out; support efforts to implement changesContribute to team training opportunities and team meetings by suggesting topics and sharing expertise and knowledgeOther tasks as assignedRequirementsRequirements10+ years construction and project management experience;Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degreePMP or CCM certification desired not requiredMA Electrical Licensure is desiredExperience with site logistics, equipment deliveries and crane operations in dense, urban settingsEffective at Contract negotiation and conflict resolutionAbility to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, etc. plans and specifications to include blueprints, proposals and other documents as they relate to electrical workHigh technical understanding of working with utilities and AHJ'sWorking knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office productsDemonstrated decisiveness in resolving project issues, making decisions and identifying priorities
