Lead Full Stack Engineer

Lead Fullstack EngineerInsight Global is seeking a Lead Fullstack Engineer to help build and scale a new Embedded Payments team responsible for modernizing and expanding a business-critical payments platform serving law firms across its SaaS portfolio. This is a true player-coach role, spending approximately 70% hands-on in code and architecture and 30% leading engineers, while owning technical direction, delivery, code quality, engineering standards, and platform modernization initiatives. This individual will help design, build, and support payment-related functionality including payment processing, billing, Stripe Connect integrations, ACH/eCheck transactions, payouts, reconciliation, PCI-compliant systems, and money movement workflows. The role will work closely with product, QA, design, and nearshore engineering teams while helping consolidate legacy payment solutions into a unified platform.
