Shipping Associate

The Shipping Associate will support the Shipping team to achieve effective distribution of goods. The Shipping Associate must be a highly organized, detail-oriented, person. They must be able to follow multi-step processes, easily take direction, and check their own work for accuracy to eliminate mistakes. The Shipping Associate is encouraged to be involved in the project cycle from creative solution, development, and project completion, to ongoing process improvement. The successful candidate would have an entrepreneurial mindset and would seek improvement in all facets of the position. What You'll Do Communicate with logistics providers to coordinate and schedule pick-ups. Process shipments by referencing customers' routing guides and company policies. Generate freight/shipping quotations per customers' or sales representatives' requests. Perform accurate data entry of tracking numbers into internal system and web portal. Interact with customers (internal and external) and carriers to assure customer satisfaction. Communicate any unresolved issues to supervisor in a timely manner. Work closely with other departments to resolve receiving related issues. Other duties as assigned.
