Customer Account Coordinator

Title: Customer Account Coordinator Reports to: Brokerage Manager Based at: TLD Knoxville - Cedar Bluff POSITION DESCRIPTION Customer Account Coordinator is responsible for working with customer stakeholders. The primary function is to schedule pickup and delivery appointments for customer orders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Interact with various customer stakeholders · Interact with partner carriers to provide tracking and tracing · Multitask between various forms of communication (email, phone, text, IM) · Prioritize operational tasks throughout the day · Focus on attention to detail · Rely on sense of urgency around time sensitive requests · Request pick-up and delivery appointments (phone, email, and websites) · Rely on individual critical thinking skills to assist with day-to-day logistics events · Work with direct manager to provide customer quotes · Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS · Associate’s Degree or above · Experience in logistics or transportation · Competency in Microsoft Office applications · Excellent geographical knowledge · Good organizational, verbal, and written skills a must. · Ability to focus and multi-task, detail oriented.
