Job Description Job #218043 Chipton-Ross is seeking a Embedded Software Engineer (Level 5) for a contract opportunity in Kent, WA. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)5+ years embedded programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Linux and/or PetaLinuxExperience with hardware-software integrationEmbedded C++ is the top skill POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESLeads code generation for highly embedded systemsLeads development of broad, open-architecture approachWorks with multi-disciplinary team to rapidly prototype hardware solutionsResponsible for developing code and insuring proper execution on target processorsIndependently performs work scope PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)Experience with and knowledge of aerospace systems and/or electrical systemsExperience with CMakeHighly motivated self-starter capable of executing as part of a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team REQUIRED EDUCATION Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
