Line Cook / Kitchen Prep Cook Job Type Full-time Pay $17.00 per hour Schedule Monday–Thursday Rotating Fridays 32–38 hours per week Full-time benefits included Shift Times Monday & Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Wednesday & Thursday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Rotating Fridays: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM Job Overview We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Line Cook / Kitchen Prep Cook to join our small kitchen team. This position focuses on breakfast and lunch service in a café-style environment while also supporting catering and food prep operations. Because we operate in a smaller kitchen setting, all team members work together to keep operations running smoothly. In addition to line cooking responsibilities, everyone assists with food prep, cleaning, and dishwashing as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a steady weekday schedule, early shifts, and a team-oriented kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items Assist with daily food prep and ingredient preparation Work efficiently on the line during service periods Help with catering food production and setup Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, ovens, slicers, and knives Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning Support teammates during busy and slow periods Provide friendly and professional customer service when needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience required Line cook experience preferred Experience in café, cafeteria, or catering environments is a plus Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality required Ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen prep tasks Benefits Full-time benefits package Consistent daytime schedule No late-night shifts Team-oriented work environment Stable weekly hours Experience Cooking: 2 years (Preferred) Line Cook: 1 year (Preferred) Pay: $17.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person
