Cabling Project Manager

I am looking for a Cabling Project Manager. This is a 12-month contract position with a possible extension. Note: Hybrid position in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. 2 to 3 days a week on-site.About the Role:We're seeking a sharp, organized pro who can own the project and design the network. You'll bridge engineering and execution, leading projects from kick-off through closeout while designing high-performance copper, fiber, and wireless networks. We want you on our team if you can coordinate boots on the ground while sketching out smart infrastructure.Responsibilities:Project ManagementLead and manage multiple structured cabling and infrastructure projects (fiber, copper, wireless)Build and maintain schedules, resource plans, and client communicationsCoordinate with field superintendents, techs, and subcontractorsMonitor budget, materials, and change ordersDeliver clean project closeouts and documentationNetwork DesignCreate structured cabling and network layouts using Visio or AutoCADDesign AP layouts, switch maps, MDF/IDF builds, and patch panel configsSpecify cable types, quantities, and pathways per industry standardsWork directly with clients, sales, and estimators to finalize scopeProvide redlines, as-builts, and updates based on field inputRequired Skills:5+ years of experience in cabling/network projectsExperience in managing LAUSD or K-12 projectsConfident with MS Project, Excel, and Visio (AutoCAD is a plus)Clear communicator who can run a job and explain a designSelf-starter, calm under pressure, gets things done
