This internship offers hands-on experience in Digital Products where you'll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into Product Management, Portfolio Governance, and the latest ML/AI/GenAI initiatives. You'll collaborate with the Digital, IT and other manufacturing teams, as well as mentorship from senior product and data leaders, building skills that will help launch your career!The Digital Products Portfolio Intern will operate at the intersection of our customer- and dealer-facing digital products. You will enhance portfolio visibility, generate data-driven insights, and help refine continuous-improvement (Kaizen) workflows that accelerate decision-making for Product, IT, and Advanced Services leadership. Perfect for early-career talent having product sense, creative flair, and a passion for ecosystem synergies.What You'll Be Doing:As a Digital Product Portfolio Intern, you'll assist the Technical Product Manager by collaborating with teams across MyToyota Customer Portal, MyToyota Store, MyInsights, and Fleet Solutions & Insights to deliver quick-win projects that accelerate our strategic ecosystem initiatives (not exhaustive):Interactive Portfolio ManagementRefine our portfolio map into a scalable, shareable visual for executives, product teams, and IT- leveraging modern tools that simplify updates and socialization.Data Products, Reporting & AI/GenAI InitiativesHelp integrate key datasets into the Enterprise Data Platform and build Power BI dashboards with the Fleet Data Products team. Use these data assets to help develop a focused AI/GenAI project that showcases added value for Digital Products.Product Support WorkflowAssess the current support ecosystem and enhance the incident triage process escalation paths for production issues spanning multiple products.What We're Looking For: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higherEducation Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Product Management, or a related field Master's degree or MBA with a technical or creative focus preferred Technical SkillsData & Analytics: Proficient in SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI; comfortable with data integrations and basic analysisDigital Ecosystem Exposure: Experience or strong interest in IoT, e-commerce, or web-portal data flows and integrationsTools and Methodologies: Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe; hands-on with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Aha! and creative visualization tools (Miro, Visio, Figma, etc.)Product Portfolio Management: Familiarity with product-portfolio management principles, including dependency mapping and roadmap alignment.Technical Writing: Skilled in creating clear, structured documentation such as process flows, architecture diagrams, and persona-based views.Soft SkillsClear Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal skills; able to tailor technical and strategic messages to engineers, product owners, and executivesCreative Systems Thinker: Attention to detail with a design-oriented mindset and an ability to recognize interdependencies across products and platformsSelf-Starter: Proactive problem-solver who embraces continuous learning and thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environment.Cultural Fit: Embodies Toyota core values, including respect for people, commitment to continuous improvement (Kaizen), and a collaborative spirit rooted in teamwork and customer-centricity.Where and When You'll Work: Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule-collaborate in person at our Columbus, IN office and work remotely Thursdays and Fridays.What You'll Get in Return:Wage - $22.00 - $26.00 per hour.
