You'll work directly with the leadership team to help ensure we have the people and partnerships needed to fulfill our mission.This is an ideal role for someone who is people-centered, highly organized, and passionate about social impact._______________________________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesVolunteer Engagement:Support volunteer recruitment by posting opportunities and conducting outreachAssist in onboarding new volunteers and matching them to the right rolesHelp coordinate volunteer orientations, check-ins, and appreciation activitiesMaintain volunteer tracking spreadsheets (hours, roles, contact info)Collaborate with the Volunteer Manager to streamline communication and schedulingCommunity Outreach:Identify and build relationships with local community groups, churches, sororities, schools, etc.Represent My Style Matters at outreach events (virtual or in-person)Coordinate tabling opportunities, health fairs, and speaking engagementsHelp manage outreach materials and presentation foldersCollect and track contact info from new community partners_______________________________________________________________You're a Great Fit If You...Love connecting with people and building relationshipsAre organized, responsive, and know how to follow throughEnjoy supporting and motivating volunteers or community membersHave experience in outreach, events, or volunteer coordination (bonus, not required)Believe in health equity and empowering Black women through communityWant to grow your leadership skills in a grassroots nonprofit setting
