Corporate Event Manager (Conferences)
Auxis Technology, an AI – Blockchain Advisory Consulting Firm – Located In Long Beach, Ca is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact conferences. The Event Manager will oversee all aspects of conference logistics—from concept development and vendor management to on-site execution and post-event evaluation. This role requires a strong background in event production, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring seamless experiences for attendees, speakers, and sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and execute conferences from conception to completion.
Develop event strategies, budgets, and timelines aligned with company objectives.
Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with venues, vendors, and suppliers.
Coordinate with speakers, moderators, sponsors, and exhibitors to ensure smooth participation.
Manage event registration systems, ticketing platforms, and attendee communications.
Oversee event branding, marketing, and promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
Lead on-site event operations, ensuring all technical, logistical, and hospitality needs are met.
Monitor and evaluate event performance, gathering feedback to optimize future conferences.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations at all events.
Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate innovative event experiences.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience in event planning and conference management.
Proven track record of managing large-scale conferences or corporate events.
Strong project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in event management tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, Hopin).
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours around event schedules.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in blockchain, fintech, technology, or related industries (a plus).
Knowledge of hybrid and virtual event platforms.
Strong vendor and sponsorship management experience.
Knowledge of corporate rates of Major Hotels- Marriot, Hyatt, Hilton.
