Wildcat Life Assistants promote and market all campus programming and activities in the Student Life Office as needed.Minimum Qualifications:Provide excellent customer service and excel at communicating with othersDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skillsExhibit leadership, initiative, dependability, discipline and enthusiasmExperience using Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Google Docs a plusPreferred Qualifications:Associates DegreeExperience working in a Student Life Office preferred Duties & Responsibilities:Welcome and greet the public at the Student Center and around campusProvide various services and referrals to the campusDevelop an expanded knowledge of Western Nevada CollegeConduct campus tours for new students, schools, classes, and guestsRepresent Western Nevada College during college eventsAssist with duties and tasks related to events put on by various Western Nevada College departments, clubs and organizationsWork with diverse populations and provide tips on being a successful studentConnect students to faculty, academic advisors, staff, and college resourcesEncourage involvement in college clubs/organizations and campus eventsPromote and enhance the marketing efforts of all programming and events for WNC studentsMaintain the Student Center service areas appearance and professionalismAssist with a variety of office related tasksAll other duties as assigned Exempt NoFull-Time Equivalent48.8%Required Attachment(s)ResumePosting Close DateNote to ApplicantNewly hired faculty must assure that their official transcript is sent by the degree granting institution(s) to Western Nevada College, Human Resources Office within 30 calendar days from the effective date of employment.Academic degrees must have been awarded by regionally accredited institutions.
