Architectural Structural Designer
Job DescriptionJob Summary:Seeking an experienced Structural Designer with strong industrial design and drafting experience to support structural system layouts, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination for complex projects. This role involves developing models, drawings, details, and design deliverables while supporting engineers and project teams throughout all phases of design and construction. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, along with the ability to lead design efforts, coordinate across disciplines, mentor junior designers, and support project scope, schedule, and quality objectives.Pay: $34.13 - $43.65 per hour DOEQualifications:Strong knowledge of structural design principles, codes, standards, and industry best practicesAdvanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and related drafting/modeling softwareExperience with structural system layouts, design coordination, and construction documentationAbility to perform model reviews and coordinate multidisciplinary designsStrong understanding of project scope, schedule, budgeting, and identifying scope creepExperience mentoring junior designers and reviewing design work for accuracy and completenessAbility to function as an area, building, or system lead designerStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExperience preparing labor estimates and coordinating project deliverablesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within multi-discipline teamsMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipResponsibilities: Create, coordinate, and publish structural design deliverables including drawings, models, details, and construction documentsDevelop structural system layouts and participate in design approach discussions and technical solutionsCoordinate designs with engineers, architects, contractors, and other disciplinesReview and back-check designs for quality, accuracy, and completenessParticipate in project meetings, status updates, and coordination discussionsPerform field surveys and verify existing site conditionsReview specifications and support quality design standardsProcess submittals, respond to RFIs, and resolve design conflictsProvide technical guidance to junior designers and support project leadershipSupport project schedules, labor estimates, and multidisciplinary coordination activities#StructuralDesigner #StructuralDesign #Revit #AutoCAD #Navisworks #Bluebeam #ConstructionDocuments #IndustrialDesign #Semiconductor #EngineeringDesign #CADDesign #BIM #StructuralEngineering #IndustrialFacilities #DesignCoordination #Construction #EngineeringJobs #Drafting#LI-NB1Additional InformationHKA Enterprises is a global workforce solutions firm.
