Part Time CDL Driver

Can also do an on-call schedule as well!TransTrash is hiring a part-time CDL Driver to support waste and recycling collection routes in the Bismarck/Mandan area. This is a local driving position with no overnight travel. Drivers operate collection vehicles, service commercial containers, and transport material safely to disposal facilities.We are looking for dependable team members who value safety, customer service, and consistency.ResponsibilitiesOperate commercial waste collection vehicles safely and efficientlyService commercial dumpsters using hydraulic lift systemsFollow assigned routes using onboard tablet technologyPerform pre-trip and post-trip DOT vehicle inspectionsTransport collected waste and recyclable material to disposal facilitiesSafely maneuver trucks in tight commercial environmentsMaintain accurate route and service documentationAssist with cleanup around container areas as neededComply with all company, DOT, federal, state, and local safety regulationsWill be cross trained on all types of trucks/routesQualificationsValid Class B CDL required (Class A preferred)Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to repeatedly enter and exit truck throughout shiftComfortable operating hydraulic controls and collection equipmentPrevious transportation or route-driving experience preferredBasic tablet/computer skills for route processing and work ordersStrong attendance and communication skillsPre-employment drug screening required.TransTrash is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#hc246840
