The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of a project site according to blueprints and schedule plans. Their duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks, and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites. Keep track of project progressEnsuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standardsPurchase equipment and materialsCollaborate with engineers, subcontractors to determine project needsSet performance goals and deadlinesPlan construction processesEstimate costs and ensure the project is on budgetSupervise staff and quality guidelinesOrder the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenanceKeep track of material stock and ordersEnsure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderlyResolve on-site issues and emergenciesCoordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to complete each project on time.Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary.Ability to write reports and professional correspondence to vendors, government officials, and clientsGood reading comprehension for technical documents, such as safety regulations, assembly and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsKeen eye to identify non-compliance with regulations or standards and ability to suggest solutions for deficiencies or problemsExperience with managing demanding clients and offering creative solutions to meet commitments and requestsEnsure that the construction project complies with all safety and building regulations.Conduct an in-depth analysis of the project to come up with the budget and deliverablesLiaise with local authorities to obtain licenses and permits for the projectPayrate: $83,200 AnnualyRequired Qualifications And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, a technical field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in related field. Qualified candidate must currently hold and maintain an Active SECRET Security ClearancePursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.Proven administrative experienceKnowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sitesIn-depth understanding of construction operations and processesFamiliarity with CAD softwareProficiency in MS OfficeExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
