This position will work daytime shift and on site.You’ll Make An Impact ByEnsure ongoing accreditation with ISO 17025 requirements for the laboratory.Plan and execute tests at project initiation and manage any issues that occur during testingProvide support for and oversee the calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipmentEnsure schedules are maintained and projects proceed in accordance with the client’s expectationsYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic QualificationsMinimum of 2 years’ experience Laboratory environmentMinimum of 2 years’ experience in electric product developmentAssociates degree from an accredited institutionRequired amount of travel with the positionMust be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbsMust be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violationsLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution3+ years’ experience of environment and PLC product experienceAnalyze, document, and report test results within an A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratorySolid understanding of ISO/IEC standardUnderstand and interpret a wide range of IEC standards related to EMC, Safety, climatic, and mechanical environmentsDevelop and perform validation strategies to ensure correct test equipment operationDevelop and perform functional verification testing to verify product specificationsMaintain communication and develop relationships with internal and external personnelParticipate and contribute to both internal and external audits of the quality management systemSupport the quality management system, accreditation audits, assisting with evidence, method review, corrective actions, and updates to laboratory proceduresParticipate in and contribute to the accreditation requirements (ISO/IEC 17025), continuous process improvementsAbout SiemensWe are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
