Roles and Responsibilities « Serve the Customer: o Model the GUEST Customer engagement philosophy to ensure consistent and positive Customer experiences. o Train store team to effectively execute our GUEST program to deliver a great Customer experience. o Know our Customer – know what’s important to her, what she’s ‘into’ now, and how can we best meet her desire to stay trendy and hip. Keep apprised of fashion trends. o Communicate to the store team all of the dimensions of the target Customer as appropriate. o Perform and train associates to perform ear piercing procedures that are in compliance with Company and legal guidelines. Enforce proper ear piercing procedures among store associates. « Drive Sales: o Achieve store’s sales plan and use performance targets (e.g. Conversion, Transactions, Average Dollar Sale (ADS), Units per Transaction (UPTs), Sales per Labor Hour (SPLH), % Penetration (% Accessories, % Jewelry, % EP), to maximize business results. o Raise awareness of Department-level sales performance, key Item sales performance, and bestsellers to maximize business. o Ensure that every aspect of the Company’s in-store presentation and promotional messaging standards are met. o Assist in implementing all planograms in a timely manner incorporating appropriate product flows and adjacencies given store specific attributes and physical layout. o Ensure associates understand and meet the needs of the business. « Demonstrate Leadership: o Serve as a role model for all store associates. Inspire and infuse enthusiasm while enhancing the selling skills of fellow store associates. o Motivate the team to win by encouraging friendly competition and store contests. o Create a positive work environment through effective communication, motivation, and recognition. o Promote a professional and brand-appropriate image. o Hold self and team accountable for weekly and monthly sales plans by using daily targets. o Effectively handle critical situations that occur within the store. o Organize, delegate, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow-up. « Develop People: o Assist in training and coaching staff, providing appropriate feedback in a timely manner. « Manage the Business: o Comply with all Company policies and procedures. o Process and organize store inventory effectively (e.g. shipment processing, markdowns, store recovery, stock replenishment, back room organization). o Take ownership of all Loss Prevention practices to safeguard all store and Company investments. Assist in training all associates to comply with Company Loss Prevention standards.
