Primary Location: United States (US) - Colorado - DenverFunction: Operations (CA)Title: Supervisor, Warehouse Operations - 119655Onsite/Remote:Onsite PositionYour ResponsibilitiesAs a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations for John Deere Denver Depot located in Denver, CO, you will:Conduct warehouse manpower planning on a daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal perspectiveDetermine work priorities based on the workload and make daily assignments, including filling vacancies and assigning overtime to adhere to warehouse deadlinesMonitor individual and departmental performance and take corrective action, including discipline, as needed to drive toward safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency metricsFoster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement through good and clear communication practicesMonitor control plans, troubleshoot quality problems, and generally supervise production activities to ensure that outbound and inbound shipments meet or exceed requirements utilizing EWM, DNS and WCS warehousing operations systemsVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this positionWhat Skills You Need2+ years of manufacturing, operations, or warehousing experience1+ years of experience supervising or leading a teamStrong interpersonal skills with the willingness to engage with both salary and wage personnel while managing conflict resolutionExperience collaborating and working with others on key projectsAbility to be on call as a rotation and work overtime, holidays, and Saturdays as requiredWhat Makes You StandoutExperience in a leadership role in a union environmentWorking knowledge of the Continuous Improvement Process (CI) and 5S methodologyExperience with an incentive pay system (such as CIPP) and work measurementExperience with capacity and manpower planningExperience in project management with the ability to plan, organize and communicate process changes and improvements in the organizationEducation Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or 3+ years of relevant work experienceWhat You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
