These are large-scale, fast-paced programmes supporting global digital infrastructure.About the RoleI'm seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with strong electrical design experience within data centres and mission-critical environments. This role sits at the centre of hyperscale project delivery, focusing on the design of low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems that support high-density, high-availability facilities.You’ll be involved from early-stage design through to construction support, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable power solutions.Hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop electrical design for hyperscale data centre projectsDesign LV and MV power distribution systems including switchgear, transformers, and UPS integrationProduce detailed electrical drawings, calculations, and technical specificationsCoordinate with mechanical, structural, and commissioning teamsSupport construction phase services including RFIs, submittals, and site coordinationEnsure compliance with NEC and applicable electrical standardsContribute to design reviews, technical problem-solving, and optimisation strategiesEngage directly with clients and project stakeholders as requiredSkills & Experience RequiredLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) – required5+ years’ electrical engineering design experienceStrong background in data centres and mission-critical environmentsHyperscale project experience is highly desirableExperience with LV and MV electrical systems designKnowledge of switchgear, UPS systems, transformers, and critical power distributionStrong understanding of NEC and US electrical codesProficiency in electrical design tools and calculation softwareStrong communication and coordination skills in client-facing environmentsBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHybrid working model (office + remote flexibility)Direct exposure to hyperscale data centre programmesStrong pipeline of mission-critical infrastructure projectsCareer development and technical progression opportunitiesCollaborative, engineering-led environmentComprehensive benefits package (healthcare, retirement, PTO, etc.)
