Property Maintenance Lead

Job Description MAINTENANCE LEAD position now open to join our awesome team in Lincoln, Nebraska. This hands on job will provide customer service to residential and commercial tenants with turn overs, work-orders, and very rare weekend duties with occasional overtime. Also, perform large remodels and repairs to apartments, homes, and commercial properties.Compensation: $17 to $25 an hour!24 hours annual PTO, 15% off rent, very flexible work schedule. We take pride our work life balance while exceeding customer expectations.What We Offer:Paid time off accumulating at 24 hours per year with flexible work scheduleTraditional 401k and Roth IRA plansCompany vehicleCompany shirts, hoodies, and winter gear providedWhat We Need From You:Be able to provide great customer service to our residents2+ years' experience in maintenance or equivalentFunction well as a team player to accomplish team prioritiesEnsure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priorityAttention to detail on turn overs in between tenants meeting deadlinesAbility to communicate well and provide quality customer serviceManage and adapt a preventative maintenance programSnow removal and ice control as neededDry walling including painting and carpentryFamiliarity with tools and equipmentDeadline and detail-orientedExcellent customer service skillsGood driving record and background check requiredAdditional Preferred Job Skills:Painting/drywall repairFlooring (carpet install stretch and repair, hardwood finishing, LVT, CVT, laminates)Siding install, door and window installation, and egress window installPotential for on-call rotation and overtime if needed to meet deadlinesBasic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferredBasic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixturesBasic repair and diagnosis of appliances: refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves, and garbage disposalSome knowledge of HVAC and/or boiler system knowledgeSome knowledge of residential and commercial water heatersHave good verbal and written communicationBasic personal cell applications and online skills for purpose of ordering supplies/materials, managing work orders in tenant software, inventory management, and creating work/schedule calendared plans Company DescriptionWe are a property management company, providing quality, affordable housing in the Near South and Belmont neighborhoods in Lincoln, NE.
