Chief Software Architect
Chief Software ArchitectTSC is currently seeking a Chief Software Architect in Aurora, CO, Arlington, VA, Bedminster, NJ or Huntsville, AL with an educational and/or industry focus in the design of real‐time software, user applications, and user interfaces. In this role the candidate will lead the design and develop real‐time software in support of new radar and electronic warfare technology.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, the individual will lead software engineers across TSC to develop and implement sustainable software architectures on current and future TSC hardware products. This position requires familiarity with all phases of product development and deployment to include changing requirements, hardware, software, and mechanical integration dependencies, field testing, and configuration management. The individual in this position needs to work with existing software teams and create a software architecture that supports multiple products to maximize reuse, minimize development time, and ensure long‐term maintainability.Support the design, implementation, integration, test, and maintenance of real‐time software on ARM and Intel processors running embedded operating systemsWork across the products and teams to implement a sustainable software architecture and supporting development processesLead by example to enforce architecture, design, and test methodologiesSupport all phases of detailed system and subsystem development activities for real‐time software applications, including upfront analysis, prototyping, end‐item development, and evaluation in laboratory and field test environmentsWork within a multi‐discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and productsWork with product owners to define and implement iterative software releases to meet customer deliverablesWork with program managers in project definition, scoping, staff selections, and execution of the software componentsWork with TSC leadership to manage software IPSupport corporate efforts to develop common software practices across the companyRequired QualificationsBS and minimum 18 years of industry experienceExperience with:Iterative developmentDefining and maintaining software architectures through the product lifecycleWorking and/or managing software development across multiple physical sitesExperience delivering software products in USG contractsDemonstrated technical leadership and subject‐matter expertiseExcellent organizational and communication skillsAble to prioritize work and maximize productivityAbility to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD ClearanceU.S. Citizenship requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience managing software product lifecycle on hardware productsExperience developing and maintaining service‐embedded software solutionsExperience in real‐time software developmentExperience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product developmentExperience with hardware and software in the loop simulation and testExperience with Yocto, Artifactory, Git, JIRA, and JenkinsFamiliarity with Xilinx's MPSoC & RFSoC devicesFamiliarity with RF signal chains (mixing, filtering, up/down conversion, etc.)TSC BenefitsTSC offers a stable work environment, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefit package, including ESOP participation, 401(k) plan, flexible work schedules, tuition reimbursement, co‐sponsored health plan, paid leave, and more.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.#J-18808-Ljbffr
