HVAC Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team and lead daily maintenance operations at a residential community. The Maintenance Technician will manage maintenance workflows and ensure all systems and units are maintained to the highest standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading a team while staying actively involved in the work, wed love to hear from you.Requirements:Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance techniciansCoordinate and oversee all maintenance activities, including service requests, work orders, and preventative maintenanceManage vendors and contractors, including inventory control and ordering suppliesEnsure timely and high-quality apartment turnovers and unit readinessPerform and supervise repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenanceConduct regular inspections of units, buildings, and mechanical systemsMaintain compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and local building codesKeep detailed and accurate maintenance records using property management software (Yardi preferred)Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance as requiredResponsibilities:Minimum of 3 years of apartment maintenance experience, including prior leadership or supervisory experienceStrong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, and carpentryProven leadership skills with the ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesProficient with computers; experience with Yardi is a plusMust possess basic maintenance tools and have reliable transportationAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsBilingual in English and Spanish is a plusMaintain a professional demeanor and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
