Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Louisville, KY, for an Executive Director. The Executive Director will oversee the foundation's operations, implement its mission and vision, and manage strategic planning efforts. Responsibilities include developing and managing budgets, supervising staff, building and maintaining partnerships, overseeing fundraising efforts, managing communications, and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Executive Director will represent the foundation to stakeholders and the broader community. Qualifications Leadership and Management: Experience in executive leadership, strategic planning, people management, and organizational development.Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budget development, financial planning, and reporting.Advocacy and Public Relations: Strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and public speaking.Operational Competency: Skilled in project management, program implementation, and operational oversight.Communications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in developing reports, proposals, and outreach efforts.Nonprofit Expertise: Familiarity with nonprofit governance, grant-making processes, and compliance requirements is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a relevant field (advanced degree preferred).Demonstrated passion for equity, diversity, and community-focused initiatives.
