Lead Appliance Installer

Job Description Position Summary:Affordable Appliance Repair is launching a dedicated appliance installation division to serve our growing base of residential customers. We’re seeking an experienced Lead Appliance Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering and installing major home appliances with precision, professionalism, and safety. You’ll work with a helper to complete daily installs, ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold our standard of excellence in the field.Key Responsibilities:Deliver and install major home appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, ranges, and ovens)Read and interpret work orders, site specs, and installation instructionsSafely connect gas, water, electrical, and ventilation systems (where applicable)Install anti-tip brackets, stacking kits, pedestals, trim, and accessories as neededConfirm all appliances are level, tested, and functioning before leaving the siteCommunicate clearly with customers and address any installation concernsMaintain accurate records, collect signatures, and capture photos of completed jobsIdentify and report job-site hazards or incomplete site prep before proceedingSafely load/unload appliances using dollies, straps, and lift gateProvide leadership and oversight to the installer helper/apprenticeQualifications:Required:3+ years of experience in appliance installation (residential)Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing connections (standard 120V/240V, gas flex lines, water lines, drain hoses)Able to read floor plans, site layouts, and installation guidesClean driving record and valid driver’s licenseExcellent customer service and communication skillsPhysically able to lift and maneuver appliances with assistanceComfortable using smartphone-based routing and job completion appsPreferred:Experience with built-in, high-end, or integrated appliance installsEPA Type I certification (a plus, not required)Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not requiredCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly wage + performance bonusesCompany vehicle (box truck with lift gate) and tools providedHealth, dental, and vision insurance optionsPaid time off and holidaysCareer advancement opportunities as we expand this divisionWork Environment & Schedule:Monday–Friday standard shifts, occasional Saturdays during peak seasonField-based, residential homes across the Phoenix metro areaMust be able to work in a 2-person team and occasionally train apprenticesAffordable Appliance Repair is a fast-growing service company that takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and treating every home like it’s our own.
