Tax Associate

OverviewThe Tax Associate at Catalyst Family Office is an entry-level fulltime position and a critical member of a team of professionals providing a full range of tax services to clients. You will work broadly across the tax practice assisting in a variety of both strategic and tactical needs to ensure the timely completion of projects.ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing income tax returns and ensuring compliance with federal and state filing requirements.Track quarterly and annual income and expenses for accurate preparation of tax returns.Collaborate with team members in communicating tax accounting to colleagues in other departments of the firm.Maintain accurate tax workpapers.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting.1 or more years full time experience in tax return preparation or accounting-related field.Strong attention to details.Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good communication skills.A desire to contribute, learn, and grow at Catalyst Family Office.Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.What we offerPrimary office in Mountain View, CA. with partial remote work availability. Final compensation will be tailored to the candidate's unique combination of skills, professional experience, and qualifications, as well as geographic location.
