Software Engineer, Operational Data Flows Make an Impact Where It Matters MostAt Intelliforce, we build software that helps mission data move securely, reliably, and at the speed operations demand. In this role, you will create, sustain, and troubleshoot complex operational data flows that support storage, transport, management, security, compliance, and knowledge store management. You will also work directly with mission customers to explore raw data, clean and enrich it, transform it into usable formats, and improve how operational data moves across the environment. It is a chance to improve the flow, quality, and reliability of data that mission teams depend on.Here's What Your Day-to-Day Could IncludeCreate, sustain, and troubleshoot complex operational data flowsSupport data storage, transport, management, security, compliance, and knowledge store managementUse Apache NiFi to process and distribute data across operational environmentsWork with mission customers to explore raw data and transform it into required formatsClean, enrich, and convert data to improve downstream usabilityImprove existing operational data flow processing, distribution, and reliabilityMonitor system health and support observability across data flow environmentsAutomate repeatable tasks and support infrastructure-as-code practicesMinimum QualificationsClearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearancesCitizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visasMaster's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityOr bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityOr nine years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityRequired SkillsExperience using the Linux CLI and suite of toolsExperience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flowsExperience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute dataExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and PrometheusExperience with IaC principles and automation tools including AnsibleExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including JIRA and ConfluenceDesired SkillsGeneral HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage componentsExperience with corporate data flow processes and toolsExperience with corporate data security and compliance procedures and policiesExperience writing scripts using Bash and PythonCompensation Range: $179,000.00 - $237,000.00*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate's background and suitability for the role.
