Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical CareLocation: Great Falls, MTPosition Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care to provide direct patient care to adult medical and surgical patients requiring advanced monitoring in an inpatient hospital setting. This role supports patients with complex clinical needs, including those requiring ventilatory support and invasive monitoring.The RN functions with a high level of clinical autonomy, acts as a clinical leader, and supports team development through mentoring and precepting. Responsibilities span the full continuum of care from admission through discharge.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity medical/surgical patientsMonitor and manage patients requiring advanced hemodynamic and respiratory supportOperate advanced medical equipment, including:Arterial lines (A-lines)Central and peripheral IV linesMultiple IV infusion pumpsChest tubesVentilatorsPerform comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans in accordance with established policies and proceduresCollaborate with providers, charge nurses, and leadership to ensure safe and effective patient careAssist with discharge planning and patient/family educationAct as a clinical leader and preceptor for nursing staff as assignedProvide guidance and direction to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff including housekeeping and dietary servicesMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationEducationGraduate of an accredited nursing programExperienceRecent Critical Care nursing experience requiredExperience in an advanced Medical/Surgical or acute care inpatient setting requiredLicensure & CertificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of MontanaBasic Life Support (BLS) - requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - requiredPreferred certifications:Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)For more details reach at jmckenzie@navitashealth.com
