This is a paid internship offering hands-on experience supporting a range of HR functions, including onboarding, HR administration, recruitment, HR systems, records management, and employee engagement. The HR Intern will gain practical experience working with other HR team members in a fast paced, professional environment!Essential Job ResponsibilitiesSupport HR team members with diverse assignments including, but not limited to talent acquisition and management, employee relations, compliance, benefit and leave administration, training, organizational and individual development, reward and recognition, change management and process improvement.Demonstrate and support of Apex core values.Work on a variety of special projects as required related to the development and implementation of business needs and HR programs/initiatives.Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsMust be entering junior or senior year of a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources or related programMust have strong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with MS Office toolsHighly motivated self-starter and strategic thinker with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, team environmentPreferred QualificationsRecruiting experienceExperience working with HRIS systemsAn offer of employment at Apex Water and Process is subject to a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
