ResponsibilitiesPost-Anesthesia Care Unit RN's (PACU RNs) assess patients' health in the pre-op state. PACU RNs are responsible for overseeing vital signs, changing bandages, and administering necessary medications. PACU RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Educate families and patients about homecare instructionsManage respiratory instability and cardiac monitoring activitiesAssess patient's condition after surgery is performed, ensuring that all vital signs are within rangeMonitor patient's condition changes and report changes to the healthcare teamPerform intervention duties in the case of post-operative emergenciesShift: 3x12 Nights
