To support this mission, we are seeking an Information Assurance Engineer II to support the 501st Military Intelligence Brigade at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. In this critical role, you will serve as a lead cybersecurity professional, ensuring the integrity and security of vital Department of Defense (DoD) systems. You will play a pivotal part in the mission by managing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, leading a team of security professionals, and maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) for systems essential to national security in a high-stakes environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform the duties of an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) as defined in AR 25-2, DA 25-2-14, and NIST SP 800-53 security controlsActively manage the organization’s eMASS records, including validating security controls and associated artifactsAssess security scan results and STIGs as required to ensure system hardeningPerform POA&M updates, tracking, and resolution to mitigate identified risksLead the continuous monitoring activities of the organization to ensure ongoing security postureCollaborate with the O-ISSM on all assessment and authorization (A&A) activities to maintain ATO on applicable DoD/IC networksMaintain up-to-date status on all assigned systems and provide regular communication to Government leadsCoordinate with the Security Control Assessor (SCA) to analyze the overall risk level systems pose to enterprise networks and mission dataProvide expert guidance in the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals to achieve project and client goalsRequired Experience/ClearanceActive TS security clearance with eligibility for SCI and NATO read-on prior to starting workMust meet DoD 8140 / 8570.01-m requirements for a privileged user on a TS/SCI information system prior to starting workMaster’s degree in a STEM field with 10 years of cybersecurity experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 12 years of cybersecurity experience10 years of experience validating system security controls10 years of experience with vulnerability management10 years of experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG)8 years of experience with RMF and eMASS5 years of experience with POA&M tracking and resolution3 years of experience performing continuous monitoring of system security controlsDesired ExperiencePrior experience working as an ISSO on large-scale Department of Defense contractsProven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary cybersecurity teamsFamiliarity with ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) and HBSS/ESS (Host Based Security System)Experience supporting military operations in the South Korea (USFK) theaterAdvanced cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GSLCRedhorse Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
