The Operator will pick out necessary fabrics from inventory, load fabric rolls into the heat press, load paper liner rolls into the heat press and use the correct settings for each fabric to complete jobs with high quality. In addition to the pressing itself, the associate is also responsible for; preparing, transporting and loading material; performing quality and maintenance checks; organizing in-house work into a structured work flow; maintaining a clean work environment and comes equipped with a “can-do” attitude.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesMaintains daily heat press workloads and standard maintenance of the heat press.Read and understand work orders and written instructions to ensure proper fabrics/settings chosen.Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; report to Print Manager for calling in repairs.Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and logging job progress into our internal file management software.Ability to determine best material settings and minimizing waste while operating the heat press. Maintain in-house inventory.Ability to multitask: prioritizing, maintaining professionalism and high quality of work. An even temperament and ability to adapt in a deadline driven environment.Assist in maintaining, cleaning, and organizing heat press department and material storage.Other duties as assigned by team lead and/or Manager.Follow Moss Human Resources standards and policies.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.Attention to detail and maintaining a safe work environment is essential.Willingness to work overtime and weekends on short notice when necessary to deliver the project on time.Physical Demands: Must be able to kneel, bend, sit, stand, walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.Communication and Language Skills: Must write and speak English clearly.Work EnvironmentFast‑paced commercial print manufacturing setting.Collaborate with prepress, press, and finishing teams to ensure high‑quality output.ScheduleFull-time position3:00pm - 11:30pmOvertime available based on production needs.BenefitsCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) matchCareer growth opportunities within a stable, employee‑focused organizationA dynamic environment where craftsmanship and teamwork are valuedWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.# ZR
